Holland Tour Group

Sponsored by the Family Support Network of Wake County

Based on the “Welcome to Holland” story by Emily Perl Kingsley and “Celebrating Holland” by Cathy Anthony, these parent gatherings are designed to bring together families of children with special needs for information and sharing.  Three “Mom’s Night Out” activities are also planned for 2010.

WHEN: Workshop times will be from 7:00 – 9:00 pm

WHERE: All workshops  will be held at Brooks Avenue Church of Christ located at 700 Brooks Avenue, Raleigh.

Childcare will not be provided for these meetings.

The Holistic Approach – Nourishing Our Children/Wellness in the Child with Special Needs

Improve your child’s health and well-being through simple and effective nutritional
guidelines.  Based on research and information from the highly reputable and respected
Weston A. Price Foundation, this lecture is essential for anyone interested in giving their
children a chance at optimal health, happiness, and quality of life.  Presented by the
Center for Chiropractic and Wellness.

Transition from Early Intervention to Preschool

Presented by the Raleigh CDSA, Wake County Preschool Services, and a parent who
has navigated the road to preschool.  Everything you need to know about the
transition will be presented.
