Newcomers and Special Education Services – To continue special education services contact the base school in your attendance area and provide them with documentation of your child’s special needs (i.e., a copy of the student’s IEP). When school is not in session you may contact Special Education Services at (919) 858-3151.




After School Care / Track Out Options

Friendly After-School Program

An after-school program for youth and young adults ages 12-21 with developmental disabilities. Activities include: arts and crafts, movies, physical games, and homework assistance. The program meets from 3:00 – 6:00 pm and follows the Wake County Public Schools traditional calendar. The program will not meet on early dismissal days, teacher work days, or school holidays.
