The Coffee Connection – Tuesday, September 8, 2010

Please join Family Support Network of Wake County  for coffee, tea, and connections at Starbucks the 2nd Wednesday of every month.  Meetings with topics and speakers are great but sometimes it’s just nice to get together, without pre-planned topics, and talk about whatever is on our mind at that moment.

We will meet between the hours of 9:00—11:00 a.m.  You are welcome to come for part or all of the time.  The first meeting will be September 8th at Starbucks, 3800 Lake Boone Trail, Raleigh.

FSN of Wake County is looking for Board Members

We are actively seeking three new members for Family Support Network of Wake County’s  Board of Directors.

We are specifically looking for 1) someone with previous accounting or business experience who could serve as Board Treasurer, 2) someone with Marketing/PR skills who could move us forward into the social networking arena and help us get the word out about our programs as we continue to expand, and 3) someone with previous board experience who can assist with board development. Through the addition of new board members we hope to develop  an active  board  that supports our organizations’ goals and mission for supporting, educating, and informing families of children with special needs.

If interested, please complete a board member application, and submit to FSN.  If you have any questions, please contact Nancy at 773-0536 or e-mail nanranta@bellsouth.net.  Thank You!
